انوع السياحه  اولا : السياحه الدينيه : تكتسب سيناء إهتمام خاصا عند أصحاب الديانات الثلاث لما بها من آثار دينيه تتمثل في : ١ – دير سانت كاترين امر ببنائه الإمبراطور هيلانه والدة الإمبراطور قسطنطين سنة ٤٣٢م ثم أكمل في عهد الإمبراطور جوستينيان سنة ٥٤٥م ليكون معقلا لرهبان سيناء وقد سمي في العصور التاليه باسم دير القديسه كاترين أحد شهداء الاسكندريه لرؤيا رأها أحد الرهبان في منامه بأنها نقلت إلى هذا الموضع فتم نقل رفاتها بناء على ذالك و أطلق اسمها على الدير و على المنطقه كلها  و للدير سور عظيم يحيط بالعديد من المباني تخترقها ممرات ودهاليز وبه أبراج عاليه في الأركان ومن أهم معالم الدير.  صورة الكنيسه الرئيسيه : أقدم الاثار المسيحيه في سيناء وإحدى الكنائس الهامه في العالم لما

نبزه تاريخيه عن محافظة جنوب سيناء  لعبت سيناء دورا هاما في تاريخ مصر فقد كانت طريقا للجيوش وأرضا للمعارك وعلي ترابها سالت دماء كثيره لأولئك اللزين كانوا يحرسون بوابة مصر الشرقيه ... فعلي طريق {حورس} بسيناء مرت جيوش تحتمس الثالث مرات عديده وهو في طريقه للتوحيد بين مصر وبلاد الحيثيين عام 1442 ق.م ... وبعده سار علي نفس الطريق الملك أحمس الأول عندما طارد فلول جيوش الهكسوس المنهزمه ... وعلي ارض سيناء تقدمت جيوش الفتح الاسلامي بقيادة عمرو بن العاص ليدخل الاسلام الي مصر ... كما شهدت تقدم جيوش صلاح الدين الأيوبي عندما طاردت الصليبين وانتصرت عليهم في معركة حطين عام 1187 م ..  وعلي أرض سيناء تم ايقاف تقدم المغول والقضاء عليهم في معركة عين جالوت عام 1260 م . وفي عام 1858 أسس سعيد باشا الحجر الصحي للحجاج بمدينة الطور .  وفي عام 1910 بدأت عمليات الحفر والتنقيب عن البترول في سيناء . وفي عام 1918 بدأت شركة انجليزيه التعدين في جنوب سيناء وبدء في استغلال خام المنجنيز بمنطقة أبوزنيمه . وفي عام 1921 ظهر البترول لأول مره في حقل {أبودريه } وتوالت السنوات علي سيناء وكانت الرحله طويله بين الحرب...
